Chicks who Shred

Chicks Who Shred is back at Buller in 2024 for our annual Shred Sessions!

Join us for two action-packed days of fun at Buller, and come ride with us! For 14 years, the Chicks Who Shred Sessions at Mt Buller have been bringing women together to ski and snowboard in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our mission is to help break down the intimidation barriers around entering, riding, and progressing in the park and around the mountain.

If you are a female aged 12 or older, confident skiing or snowboarding on blue runs, and looking to challenge yourself, then these Chicks Who Shred sessions are for you.

The best part? These sessions are free! You will have the opportunity to shred across the mountain with some of the best mentors from the Australian snow world in a supportive environment. Our sessions start at 9:45 a.m., where you'll be divided into groups led by a Chicks Who Shred Leader.

Groups are based on ability and preference, whether you want to cruise the mountain or lap the park.

At 1 p.m., we all come together for our presentations, where we give out prizes from our sponsors, including ROJO Outerwear, VOLKI Skis, CAPiTA Snowboards, UNION Bindings, Pow Gloves, Dragon Goggles, Auski, Rhythm, Sun Bum, and Blak Headwear.

These brands are supporting women and will be providing plenty of freebies and prizes throughout the season.

So, what are the dates?

Mt Buller: Thursday 8th & Friday 9th of August

You can attend one day or both, and the sessions are free! All you need is your Mt Buller Lift Pass, which can be purchased online or at the lift ticket office.
