The annual Adams Ski & Golf Day is held on Friday 11th July at Mt Buller and the Mansfield Golf Course with the Calcutta Dinner on the 10th July, 6:30 PM.

This fun event allows teams of 4 to enjoy the sporting attributes of skiing at Buller and playing golf in Mansfield whilst raising money for a worthy cause. The fundraising event first commenced in 1999 to raise money towards Mansfield schools snowsports programs and has now raised in excess of $400,000 which is an outstanding achievement by all involved.

Get some friends together to build your team of 4 and have a fantastic day on the snow, and the fairways, while raising money for the Mansfield schools skiing and snowboarding programs. Money raised will be distributed between Mansfield Primary, Mansfield Secondary, St Mary’s Primary, Merrijig Primary, Jamieson Primary, Steiner School and Mt Buller Sports and Recreation Association to support local kids learning snowsports at Mt Buller enabling many children to participate in snow sports for the very first time

Consistency rather than speed is the objective around the gates and teams are rewarded for having the smallest time differential between each rider’s two runs. Following the ski and snowboard leg, the teams make their way to the Mansfield Golf Course for a BBQ lunch followed by an Ambrose competition.

After the round finishes, presentations include a fantastic array of prizes supported by local businesses. 

ADAMS CALCUTTA DINNER - ABOM, MT BULLER, Thursday 10th, 6:30pm

• 6:30pm arrival – Moosehead bar
• 6:15pm canapes commence with dinner to follow
• Calcutta Auction to happen throughout the evening

STAGE 1 – SKI & SNOWBOARD RACING ON BOURKE STREET, MT BULLER, 8:15am
Racing starts at 8.15am. It is not the fastest team that wins, rather the team with the least time difference between their 1st and 2nd runs in a Parallel Giant Slalom. It is consistency that counts! (Even if it is consistently slow!)

• 8am – 10am  Race course opens including Bourke Street Express to get there (collect bibs from the Race Office)
• 8am Buller Central is open for rental requirements if needed
• 8am new Village Ticket Office (within Altitude Kooroora) for lift tickets  

STAGE 2 – AN AFTERNOON OF GOLFING IN MANSFIELD, 11am
The ski racing will wrap up around 10.00am and everyone heads down the mountain to the beautiful Mansfield Golf Club. Teams gather at the Clubhouse from 11.00am with an 18-hole midday tee-off. The Golf format will be 4 person Ambrose. Again, it is a team effort with the best ball on each stroke counting.

• 11am lunch at the Mansfield Golf Course
• 12pm SHARP tee off

The day will conclude with presentations at the Golf Club. It does not get much better – a ski in the morning and a hit of golf with friends in the afternoon and all for a great local cause. So get your team together and register now as entries are limited!
